Position Scope

The Production Administrator supports the efficient operation of production plants by managing administrative tasks, coordinating maintenance schedules, and maintaining accurate records. This role ensures effective document distribution, assists with equipment upkeep, and collaborates with maintenance technicians and the Purchasing team to source necessary materials. Additionally, the Production Administrator may facilitate communication with overseas production facilities as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring smooth production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the production plants.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to schedule routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and service history.
  • Distribute documents to all related parties in different shop locations.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Communicate with our overseas production plants, such as Zhongshan and other places, if necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to source spare parts and materials necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • Completion of High School Diploma.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and knowledge of Chinese is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment focused on providing the best level of service for the customer is considered an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong logistics, documentation, and time management background.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Outlook
  • Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
