Description

Position Scope
We are seeking a humanoid and collaborative Robotics software Developer with a focus on software programming, robotics control, vision and AI to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, coding, operating and training fully functioning industrial and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, program and train humanoid and collaborative robots for industrial and commercial applications
  • Use manufacturer-supplied software to program the robots
  • Program the robots in Python or C++ for ROS2 environment.
  • Program and commission the vision system
  • Train the robots with various AI models
  • Collaborate with application engineers and shop supervisors to perform specific manufacturing tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience with Python, and C++
  • Proficiency in Vision system software development
  • Familiarity with ROS 2 is considered an asset
  • Trained in developing machine learning models and implementing AI algorithms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical and technical team members.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
