Description

Position Scope:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant / Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that production runs smoothly, schedules are efficiently managed, and all logistical operations support the company’s overall success. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate the time and materials required to complete each job
  • Effectively manage schedules to maximize workflow and productivity
  • Track incoming and outgoing products, equipment, and materials
  • Monitor the production status of each project to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain and update detailed records and spreadsheets for past, current, and future workflows
  • Collaborate closely with the production and operations teams, as well as the Logistics Manager
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and align with company standards
  • Support day-to-day logistics and operations activities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, production coordination, or supply chain operations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is considered an asset
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred
  • Skills:
    • Strong time management and organizational abilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
    • Proficient with digital tools and Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software)
    • Ability to create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation
    • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
