Description
Position Scope:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant / Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that production runs smoothly, schedules are efficiently managed, and all logistical operations support the company’s overall success. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate the time and materials required to complete each job
- Effectively manage schedules to maximize workflow and productivity
- Track incoming and outgoing products, equipment, and materials
- Monitor the production status of each project to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain and update detailed records and spreadsheets for past, current, and future workflows
- Collaborate closely with the production and operations teams, as well as the Logistics Manager
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and align with company standards
- Support day-to-day logistics and operations activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, production coordination, or supply chain operations
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is considered an asset
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred
- Skills:
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient with digital tools and Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software)
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
